Who you are
As an intern within the Meeting & Events and Reservations & Revenue team, you will be part of the commercial heart of our organisation. You are eager to learn how things work behind the scenes at a hotel. This is not a work-experience placement where you just watch, but an all-round learning environment where you contribute to enquiries, occupancy and revenue. You will learn how enquiries come in, how quotes are put together, how pricing strategy works and how commercial choices impact results. From initial contact to definitive booking: you are right in the thick of it.
Your working day
During this internship, you will be part of the team and given the space to learn the profession step by step. You will be supervised by experienced colleagues and involved in everything they do.
Contributing to enquiries for reservations, meetings & events;
Maintaining contact with guests and business associates (by telephone and email);
Thinking strategically about pricing and availability in collaboration with revenue;
Identifying commercial opportunities and upsell and cross-sell possibilities;
Participating in commercial meetings;
Assisting with reports and gaining insight into occupancy and revenue;
Coordination with colleagues regarding current bookings and specifics.

Education & work experience
You are studying for a higher education degree (hbo) in hotel management or tourism;
Preferably you are looking for a graduation internship, but we also invite students with relevant experience in the hotel industry to apply;
Experience in a hotel or restaurant is a bonus;

We will provide you with a training programme;
Speaks fluent Dutch and English.
Salary and employment conditions
Internship allowance according to the internship agreement;
Working hours: Monday - Friday: 09:00 – 17:00 (‘s-Hertogenbosch office)
