We are looking for a Operational Hotel Manager the one who, with ownership, organization, and energy, manages the daily operations. You are the face of the hotel, for guests and for the team.

Your working day
As the end-user responsible for the location, you are at the heart of the hotel’s day-to-day operations. You actively participate in the various departments, are visibly present on the floor, and at the same time ensure the management, quality, and maintaining of overview within the entire operation.
- Guest experience: You ensure a warm and personal stay, respond quickly to requests or complaints, and see opportunities to surprise guests.
- Daily hotel operation: You are involved in day-to-day operations and ensure that the centrally established SOPs are implemented and applied. You are the first point of contact for guests and the team.
- Team & culture: You build a committed team. You set clear expectations, have good planning, and create a pleasant atmosphere. Employee satisfaction is a logical consequence of your leadership style. You manage approximately 16 employees;
- Quality & safety: You monitor hygiene, cleanliness and safety and ensure that the hotel complies with laws and regulations;
- Cost control: You keep a grip on staff planning and procurement, with an eye on quality, guest experience, and the profitability of the hotel.

Education and work experience
- MBO work and thinking level
- Proven experience in hospitality or a similar service-oriented environment, with experience in a management role;
- Possession of or willingness to obtain the SHV teacher diploma;
- Languages: Dutch and English, German and French are a plus.
Salary and employment conditions
- Salary according to the Horeca CAO, commensurate with Scale 8 and your work experience | job title aok: assistant operational manager | reference role: business manager III;
- Flexible working hours, with you on the floor when it matters;
- Unfortunately, we cannot offer accommodation for this position. Therefore, it is a requirement that you live in the immediate vicinity of the hotel;
